About this course

This course is an introduction to Totem Pole Power Factor Correction (PFC) using the Totem Pole topology. To start off, we will explore fundamental concepts related to PFC, with a specific focus on Totem Pole PFC. Microchip's new dsPIC33C-based 11kW Totem Pole Demonstration Application is then introduced. We then deep dive into practical methodologies for PFC current and voltage loop tuning that we typically employ, offering valuable insights and techniques. The course will conclude with a practical demonstration of the 11kW Totem Pole Demonstration application in three phase PFC mode.
