Low-Power System Design with Microchip's 32-bit Cortex M0+/M23 ARM® Microcontrollers
Low power development fundamentals for the 32-bit ATSAML10 MCU with power measurement demonstrations using the SAML10-Xplained Pro Demo Board and Data Visualizer. (Sept 2021)
This class will guide you through the different factors involved in minimizing power consumption on an MCU, with a focus on the ATSAML10 low-power MCU. The class will review current consumption basics and examine the different sub-systems that contribute to overall current consumption. For each sub-system, the class will review the key features available on the ATSAML10 to reduce this current consumption. The SAML10-Xplained Pro board and the Data Visualizer will then be used to demonstrate the relative impact of each feature.
