This course offers an introduction to PoE (Power over Ethernet) as well as PSE (Power Source Equipment) technology and the IEEE802.3bt standard. Topics will include applying fundamentals of PoE technology, understanding the functional requirements for PoE, understanding IEEE802.3bt standard basics and learning about PoE applications and solutions.
