Interested in learning more about what Ultra-Wideband (UWB) RF communications systems can be used for? This class will take you through how UWB technology works, as compared to BLE for example. You will learn about the effects which influence the performance of a UWB system and how to avoid typical pitfalls when designing a PCB (it is a RF design!). Distance measurement and security features will be discussed in detail. As a demonstration, we will walk through the design of a distance measurement system using UWB signals.
